Dr Panthel

A graduate of the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery, Des Moines University – Osteopathic Medical Center, Dr. Panthel has recently relocated to Waycross to join Ankle and Foot Associates. Dr. Panthel completed an extensive two-year residency training program at the Central Alabama Veterans HealthCare System and Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama, where she was Chief Resident during her surgical year and gave presentations at the annual meetings of the Alabama Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Panthel has published articles in Foot and Ankle Quarterly and on the website of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons during her rigorous residency training program. In addition, during medical school, she published an original research article in the Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association. She continues to be an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, as well as the Georgia Podiatric Medical Association.

Prior to her relocation to the United States, Dr. Panthel completed her Bachelor of Science at the prestigious University of Toronto in Canada. Dr. Panthel has been in private practice since 2005 and has surgical privileges at Satilla Regional Medical Center, Coffee Regional Medical Center and the Institute for Corrective Surgery of the Foot and Ankle.
