Dr. Brent Ray

Dr. Brent Ray was awarded his doctorate from the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, in Chicago, Illinois. He was president of his class and an ambassador to the school during his tenure at the school, among other scholastic and intramural activities. Dr. Ray received his Bachelor's degree from Troy State University, in Troy, Alabama.

Dr. Ray completed his surgical training at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut. Saint Francis is the largest Catholic hospital in New England, and is associated with the UCONN School of Medicine. Along with his intense surgical training, Dr. Ray worked at a busy inner-city medical and surgical clinic, providing health care to the underserved and uninsured population of the greater Hartford area.

Prior to entering medical school, Dr. Ray was a high school teacher and coached varsity football for 8 years. He enjoys fishing and all other outdoor sports and activities. He has a passion for football and especially the University of Alabama Crimson Tide. Dr. Ray is originally from Luverne, Alabama, a rural town just south of Montgomery.
