Dr. Thomas Legacki III
Dr. Legacki enjoys the field of podiatry and is well versed in all aspects of foot and ankle care including conservative and surgical treatment options. He has extensive practice experience and has developed relationships in the community both professionally and personally allowing him to be fully integrated as part of a medical and surgical care team. He has keen interests in diabetic care/complications/amputation prevention, surgery deformity/trauma interventions, non surgical intervention for pain and inflammation, wound care, orthotic therapy/management, stem cell therapies and general podiatric care. Dr. Legacki strives to say on the cutting edge of what is available to provide the most optimal patient care experiences.
Dr. Legacki was prior military serving aboard the USS Nimitz aircraft carrier CVN-68. His undergraduate schooling was at North Carolina State University and Wake Technical Community College. His medical degree was obtained from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. His surgery and residency training was obtained at James H Quillen Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Johnson City Medical Center and East Tennessee Ambulatory Surgery Center.
While not at work, Dr. Legacki enjoys beach trips, fishing, playing with the kids, and cherishes his family time very much. He loves living in the low country and spending time in Savannah and surrounding areas. He plans on staying in the area indefinitely as he feels this is where his true home is and is happy to be a part of the community as it grows and flourishes.
