Originally from Brazil, Dr. Spinola moved to South Georgia, and in 2004, he was happy to join the friendly and collaborative podiatric team at Ankle & Foot Associates, LLC.
Dr. Spinola graduated from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania — considered one of the top universities in the field of podiatry. Dr. Spinola finished a two-year surgical residency in Massachusetts before spending two years in Atlanta, Georgia, where he completed his postdoctoral surgical fellowship and the Cobb Foot and Leg Surgical Program at the Cobb Foot and Leg Surgical Center LLC.
Dr. Spinola is a diplomat of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Podiatric Medical Association, and Georgia Podiatric Medical Association.
Dr. Spinola specializes in ankle and foot reconstruction and surgery, sports medicine, trauma, limb salvage, diabetic foot care, extensive wound care, second opinions, and re-do surgeries. He has extensive fellowship and residency training in limb salvage techniques and foot and ankle surgery.
