Dr. Nicholas Dodson
Dr. Nic Dodson is from Valdosta, Georgia and currently resides in Hahira. His wife, Dr. Erin Dodson, is also from Valdosta. They first met and began dating at the age of 16 while attending Lowndes High School. Dr. Nic earned a baseball scholarship at Georgia Southern University where he was a pitcher and third baseman. He later moved home and completed his undergraduate education at Valdosta State University. He then earned his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Des Moines University - College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa. From there, he completed a three-year surgical residency at The Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. While in residency, Dr. Nic served as chief resident in charge of the Foot & Ankle Surgery service, specializing in trauma and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. Dr. Nic is currently a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and is board certified in reconstructive rear foot & ankle surgery by the American Board of Lower Extremity Surgery.
Dr. Nic treats all aspects of the foot and ankle, but has special interests in trauma, flat foot reconstruction, and diabetes related foot and ankle conditions.
Dr. Nic loves to watch sports with his family and is a passionate fan of University of Alabama football. Dr. Nic and Dr. Erin live on 36 acres in Hahira where they enjoy gardening, raising chickens, hunting, fishing, and cooking. They have two sons, Drew and Luke, and recently welcomed baby Grace into their growing family. They attend Covenant Baptist Church in Valdosta. Dr. Nic also enjoys teaching Sunday School, speaking, and ministering to youth.
